Block Paving Cleaning
We clean all types of block paving using high pressure rotary washers which ensures that there is no striping or missed areas.
After the initial rotary cleaning, pressure lances fitted with industrial duty turbo nozzles are used to remove any remaining stubborn moss, weeds and oil stains. All dislodged contamination is then washed away using wide angle water brooms, this includes the restoration of any adjacent areas.
New Industry specified block paving sand is swept into all block joints which results in an as new appearance.
As always, care and attention will be paid to the surrounding areas and the environment, leaving walls and windows clean and drains running freely.
If required, a sealing service can also be provided, don't forget to mention this on your enquiry!

Discarded chewing gum sticks firmly to pavements, It does not degrade over time and is difficult to remove. Removing gum can be costly and without the right equipment can be very time consuming.
Drive Devils use specialist high pressure cleaning equipment in conjunction with high temperature water to ensure the complete removal of gum deposits with no unsightly residue.
Factors to consider in choosing a removal method include:
- Water or steam used under high pressure can damage grouting between paving stones.
- Spot cleaning of individual pieces of chewing gum causes less damage but is more time consuming than methods that clean whole paving slabs in one go.
- Approaches that use large quantities of water or bulky equipment will be disruptive to pedestrians. - Work is therefore often carried out at night.
- Access may be needed for bulky equipment. - long hoses, own water supply
- Generation of steam can use large amounts of energy. cleans, which are usually recommended for every 3-12 months.

Our vans operate as self contained units, and carry a supply of water large enough for most jobs, so we will not need to use your electricity or water supply and can operate unsupervised in remote locations.

The use of extra long high pressure hoses, enables us to access pedestrian only areas that would otherwise be inaccesible to high pressure enquipment.
